Top HCAC Teams Participating in HCAC Invitational

There are two tournaments on the schedule for HCAC teams this weekend. Anderson and Franklin will be traveling to Curtis Creek Golf Course to compete in the St. Joseph Invitational on Friday evening. Anderson will return home on Saturday to host the two-day Anderson Invitational at Killbuck and Yule Golf Courses. Joining Anderson at the two-day event will be Hanover, Manchester, and Transylvania. This weekend is the first full weekend of action.
Transylvania and Manchester have already been out on the links. Transylvania defeated Campbellsville on Sept. 1 in a head-to-head match 372-375. Sophomore Rhea Badgett ( Madisonville, Ky.) was the medalist at the event firing an 87. Junior Laura Pyles ( Frankfort, Ky.) finished third with a score of 91.
Manchester competed at the two-day Ferris State Invitational last weekend. The Spartans placed 13th out of 18 teams. Sophomore Anita Zollars ( Ligonier, Ind./West Noble) paced Manchester with a two-day total of 164. Zollars fired an 81 on day one and finished with an 83 on day two for a 27th place finish.
