Nick Broyles, Bluffton University, Baseball (Hitter)
Bluffton University’s Nick Broyles (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer) led the Beavers to a 2-2 record on the week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.
The sophomore outfielder finished the week 10-for-19 (.526) at the plate with eight runs scored, three doubles, three triples, two home runs, and seven RBI.
Broyles posted a 1.210 slugging percentage during the four games and tied the single season BU record with this 10th homer of the season. He also moved into first place all-time at Bluffton with 49 RBI this season.
Bluffton (17-23, 7-15 HCAC) ended the season seventh in the HCAC standings.
