Cody Young, Anderson University, Baseball (Hitter)
Anderson University’s Cody Young (Muncie, Ind./Delta) led the Ravens to a 6-3 record in Winter Park, Florida and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.
The senior outfielder finished the week 12-for-21 (.571) at the plate, leading the Ravens offensive attack. Young doubled six times, scored four times, hit a triple, and drove in six RBI during the week. The Muncie native slugged a percentage of .952 during the nine-game stretch.
Anderson (6-6, 0-0 HCAC) plays host to Wabash Tuesday before opening conference play at Transylvania this weekend.
