Greg Vogt, Anderson University, Baseball (Pitcher)

Anderson University’s Greg Vogt (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) went 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA last week on the mound for the Ravens and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week. 

The sophomore pitcher allowed eight hits and two runs while striking out four in a 5-2 win over No. 12 ranked Rose-Hulman Tuesday afternoon. 

In Anderson’s 5-4 win over Manchester Saturday, Vogt pitched 8.2 innings and allowed eight hits, four runs, and tallied four strikeouts in the victory. 

Anderson (11-9, 4-3 HCAC) plays DePauw and Indianapolis in non-conference action before a three-game series against Hanover this weekend.
