Michael Tucker, Anderson University, Baseball (Hitter)
Anderson University’s Michael Tucker (Zionsville, Ind./H.S.) provided the pop offensively as the Ravens went 5-1 during the week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the second time.
The junior catcher finished the week 10-of-18 (.556) at the plate as Anderson moved into second place in the league standings.
Anderson earned a three-game sweep of Defiance, fell to Rose-Hulman in a single contest, and notched a doubleheader sweep of Wittenberg (2nd place in NCAC) during the week of play.
Tucker scored 10 runs and added two doubles, four home runs, and 12 RBI during the week, while adding a 1.333 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .680.
Anderson (21-7, 9-3 HCAC) will head to Manchester Tuesday afternoon and face Bluffton this weekend.
