Corey Marchant, Manchester College, Baseball (Hitter)
Manchester College’s Corey Marchant (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) led the Spartans to a 4-2 record during the week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the second time.
The junior short stop finished the week 12-of-24 (.500) at the plate with 10 RBI, eight runs scored, and a stolen base. Marchant added five home runs with seven singles, posting a slugging percentage of 1.125 during the six games.
Manchester (10-8, 2-1 HCAC) will travel to Franklin for a three-game series this weekend.
