Zach Bynum, Transylvania University, Baseball (Hitter)
Transylvania University’s Zach Bynum (Louisville, Ky./Male) led the Pioneers to a 4-0 HCAC mark last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week.
The sophomore outfielder finished the week 12-for-17 (.706) at the plate with seven runs scored, two doubles, one RBI, and two stolen bases.
Bynum had an on-base percentage of .737 and produced a .824 slugging percentage during the week.
Transylvania (20-16, 13-9 HCAC) will battle with Manchester this weekend with a spot in the upcoming HCAC baseball tournament on the line.
