Plays are nominated by each school's football coaching staff. After watching each play, fans contribute your vote to the poll at the bottom of the page. The winning play will be featured on the HCAC football page and social media sites and will be eligible for the HCAC Play of the Year vote in late November.
The winning play will be announced Wednesday at 12:00 PM (EST) with voting closing at 10:00 AM (EST).
Play 1: 51% (625 votes)
Franklin College wide receiver Kyle Linville makes a spectacular diving catch in the corner of the end zone in Franklin's 23-9 win over Bluffton. The catch was made midway through the 1st quarter, giving FC a 6-0 lead.
Play 2: 17% (209 votes)
Manchester University quarterback Nick Williams rushes for a 70-yard touchdown in a 35-34 win over Hanover College Saturday. Williams play gave the Spartans a 28-14 advantage late in the third quarter of play.
Play 3: 18% (225 votes)
Mount St. Joseph running back James Clay scores on a 39-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter giving the Lions a 28-0 lead over Earlham College. Clay made several defenders miss on his way to the end zone. Clay has over 2,000 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns this season, leading all NCAA divisions in rushing. Mount won 42-14.
Play 4: 13% (166 votes)
Rose-Hulman wide receiver Aaron Abbott hauls in a 42-yard touchdown reception in the Engineers' 42-8 win over Anderson. Abbott's play gave the Engineers a 35-3 advantage early in the second half.
