HCAC Football Play of the Week Poll (Week 4)
Plays are nominated by each school's football coaching staff. After watching each play, fans contribute your vote to the poll at the bottom of the page. The winning play will be featured on the HCAC football page and social media sites and will be eligible for the HCAC Play of the Year vote in late November.
The winning play will be announced Wednesday at 12:00 PM (EST) with voting closing at 10:00 AM (EST).
Play 1: 3% (49 votes)
Anderson University senior DE Jeremy Martin strips the Defiance running back at the 23 yard line and runs in for the score to give Anderson their only score of the day. The play cut the Defiance lead to 10-7 late in the 1st QT.
Play 2: 44% (595 votes)
Defiance College WR Jon Carrabino made a diving catch in the end zone, completing a 30-yard touchdown connection from Garrett Teague. The play gave Defiance a 17-7 lead in the second quarter of DC's 30-7 Homecoming win against Anderson.
Play 3: 6% (81 votes)
Franklin College QB Grant Welp rushes for a 58 yard touchdown run early in the 2nd Quarter, giving the host Grizzlies a 49-0 lead over Earlham. The Grizzlies scored a school record 70 points in the Homecoming win over the Quakers.
Play 4: 45% (601 votes)
Manchester University DE Jon Scribner makes a diving one-handed interception with 7:00 to go in the 3rd quarter against Rose-Hulman Saturday. The interception led to a Spartan touchdown two plays later to cut the lead and start the big comeback for Manchester. MU fell to Rose-Hulman 28-26.
