HCAC Football Play of the Week Poll (Week 5)
Plays are nominated by each school's football coaching staff. After watching each play, fans contribute your vote to the poll at the bottom of the page. The winning play will be featured on the HCAC football page and social media sites and will be eligible for the HCAC Play of the Year vote in late November.
The winning play will be announced Wednesday at 12:00 PM (EST) with voting closing at 10:00 AM (EST).
Play 1: 9% (201 votes)
Anderson University junior WR Keith Thomas hauls in a 37-yard touchdown reception to give the Ravens a 20-13 lead over Mt. St. Joseph with 30 seconds left before halftime. AU fell to the Mount 41-20.
Play 2: 37% (803 votes)
Defiance College senior linebacker Hunter Robertson picks off an Earlham College pass and returns it 47 yards for a touchdown late in the Jackets' 34-10 win over EC.
Play 3: 39% (854 votes)
Hanover College wide receiver Daniel Passafiume scores the game-winning touchdown in overtime on a 25-yard reverse, capping off the Panthers 33-27 come-from-behind win over Rose-Hulman. The Panthers trailed by 20 points in the fourth quarter before pulling off the overtime victory.

Manchester University senior defensive back Max Jones seals the Spartans' 24-14 win over Bluffton University with a 51-yard interception return for a touchdown with 1:38 remaining in the game. The play stopped a Bluffton march in the fourth quarter with the Spartans holding a 17-14 advantage.

Mount St. Joseph senior running back scores on a 75-yard touchdown run, capping off the scoring in MSJ's 41-20 win over Anderson University. The touchdown run put Clay into the HCAC record books, eclipsing the old single-game rushing mark of 296 yards. Clay scored four TD's in the win, totaling 342 yards on 32 carries.
