Hanover WR Dan Passafiume Earns HCAC Play of the Week Honor

GREENWOOD, IN - Hanover College wide receiver Dan Passafiume (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) was voted as the HCAC Play of the Week for week 5.  The senior earned the title after voting took place on the HCAC social media outlets of Facebook and Twitter.

Passafiume's winning play was the decisive outcome in the Panthers' 33-27 overtime win over Rose-Hulman Saturday.  The senior scored on a 25-yard reverse on the first offensive play from scrimmage, completing a 20-point fourth quarter comeback.

Passafiume's play was also named a D3football.com National Play of the Week finalist on Tuesday morning and currently has over 1,400 views on YouTube

The final voting tally saw Passafiume hold off Hunter Robertson of Defiance College by a vote of 854 (39%) to 802 (37%).

The poll was distributed on the HCAC Twitter (@HCACDIII) and Facebook pages Monday, with voting ending this morning. 

This week's vote generated a record 2,160 votes and over 10,700 page views in a 36-hour period.
