GREENWOOD, IN - Bluffton University wide receiver Donovan Brown (Cincinnati, Ohio/Purcell Marian) was voted as the HCAC Play of the Week for week 10. The junior earned the title after voting took place on the HCAC social media outlets of Facebook and Twitter.
Brown's winning play was a 44-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Connor Sheehan in the final minute of BU's dramatic 24-17 win over No. 9 Franklin College Saturday. Brown made the catch after Franklin defensive back LaDarrius Calvin tipped the ball while trying to make the interception. The play snapped FC's 31-game HCAC win streak.
Brown's play was also named the D3football.com National Play of the Week on Tuesday morning.
The final voting tally saw Brown garnering 93% of the vote (2,449 votes), beating out Rose-Hulman's Greg Lee who garnered 6% of the vote (157).

All the winning plays from the 2013 season will be nominated for HCAC Play of the Year, which will be voted upon the week of Nov. 25-27 leading up to Thanksgiving.
