Manchester's Eric Courter Earns Final HCAC Play of the Week Honor

GREENWOOD, IN - Manchester University offensive lineman Eric Courter (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) was voted as the final HCAC Play of the Week for the 2013 season.  The senior earned the title after voting took place on the HCAC social media outlets of Facebook and Twitter.

Courter caught a blocked field goal attempt and stumbled into the end zone for a touchdown, giving the Spartans a 7-0 lead in the annual "Battle for the Bronze Ball" with Anderson.  The Spartans went on to win 42-13.

The final voting tally saw Courter garnering 79% of the vote, beating out Earlham College's Lajay Kelly who garnered 20% of the vote.

The poll was distributed on the HCAC Twitter (@HCACDIII) and Facebook pages Monday, with voting ending at 10AM today. 

Be sure to follow the HCAC on Twitter and Facebook to vote in next week's Play of the Year poll begining Monday afternoon.

All the winning plays from the 2013 season will be up for HCAC Play of the Year honors.  Voting will open on Monday, November 25 with the winning play announced on Wednesday, November 27.
