Derek Eitel, Rose-Hulman, Football (Offense)
Rose-Hulman quarterback Derek Eitel (Marshall, Ill./H.S.) capped off his Engineer career with a 37-6 win over Anderson and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on offense for the third time.
The senior completed 20 of his 29 passes for 312 yards and four first half touchdowns in the season ending win for Rose.
The Marshall, Illinois native ended his career with school records of 576 completions, 7,507 passing yards, and 52 touchdowns. He also claimed the single-season passing record of 2,723 yards this fall.
Rose-Hulman ended the season 6-4 overall and 4-3 in HCAC play.
