Erik Prosser, College of Mount St. Joseph, Football (Defense)
College of Mount St. Joseph linebacker Erik Prosser (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) led the Lions defense in a 27-19 season opening win at Wilmington College and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense.
The junior recorded a team-high 16 tackles in the win, including two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
The Mount (1-0, 0-0 HCAC) open their home schedule Saturday afternoon against Lakeland (Wis.).
