Scott Eaton, Rose-Hulman Inst. of Tech., Football (Defense)

Rose-Hulman linebacker Scott Eaton (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) led the Engineer defense in a 19-18 loss to Greenville (IL) and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense. 

The junior reached double figures in tackles for the fourth time in his career with 12 tackles against the Panthers.  He notched six solo efforts and 1.5 tackles for loss to lead the Rose defense that held Greenville to only 195 yards in the loss. 

Rose (2-1, 0-0 HCAC) will open the HCAC schedule this weekend at home against Mount St. Joseph.
