Brandon Wells, Manchester College, Football (Special Teams)
Manchester College's Brandon Wells (Woodburn, Ind./Woodlan) provided two big field goals and two extra points in the Spartans' 20-17 homecoming win over Rose-Hulman and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.
Wells connected from 27 yards out at the end of the first half, giving the black and gold a 10-7 advantage at the break. He added a 37 yard field goal early in the third quarter to hand MC a 13-7 advantage.
Manchester (1-3, 1-0 HCAC) travels to Defiance Saturday afternoon.
