Kyle Kovach, Rose-Hulman, Football (Offense)
Rose-Hulman running back Kyle Kovach (Munster, Ind./Andrean) totaled over 240 yards of offense and three touchdowns in the Engineers' 41-38 homecoming win over Hanover and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on offense.
The freshman rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries to lead the Engineer offense in the win. Kovach scored on 69 and 13 yard touchdown runs and added a 76 yard kickoff return for a touchdown that gave the Engineers a 34-31 lead late in the contest.
Rose-Hulman (3-3, 1-2 HCAC) will play host to Defiance this weekend.
