Alex Bonilla, Defiance College, Football (Special Teams)
Defiance's Alex Bonilla (Cleveland, Ohio/Glenville) was perfect in the kicking game as DC defeated Anderson 20-7 and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.
The senior kicker split the uprights from 24 and 32 yards out and hit both extra points in the Jackets' win. His two field goals began and ended the Defiance scoring in the victory.
DC (3-4, 2-2 HCAC) returns home to face Hanover this weekend.
