Steve Sealscott, Bluffton University, Football (Defense)
Bluffton University safety Steve Sealscott (Van Wert, Ohio/H.S.) helped the Beavers to their 30-28 win over Kalamazoo and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense.
The junior contributed five tackles, a pass breakup, and had a 36-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown that put the Beavers on top 24-21 with 12 minutes to play in the contest.
Bluffton (1-0, 0-0 HCAC) will open their home schedule Saturday afternoon against nationally ranked Trine.
