Tom Foos, Defiance College, Football (Special Teams)
Defiance College’s Tom Foos (Helena, Ohio/Lakota) was perfect with his foot in Defiance’s 19-13 double overtime loss to Muskingum and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.
The senior kicker connected on a game-tying field goal late in the fourth quarter from 24-yards and then hit a career-long 45-yard attempt in the first overtime period to help Defiance stay alive.
Foos also averaged 53.7 yards per kickoff and pinned Muskingum inside the 20-yard line on two of his seven punts.
Defiance (0-1, 0-0 HCAC) will travel to Adrian Saturday evening.
