Zack Corpe, Franklin College, Football (Special Teams)
Franklin College’s Zack Corpe (Granger, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) was instrumental in the return game for the Grizzlies as FC defeated Valparaiso 49-35 and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.
The sophomore had six punt returns for 83 yards, including a 42-yard return that set up FC’s game-tying touchdown late in the third quarter.
Corpe also had five kickoff returns for 102 yards, totaling 185 return yards on the evening.
Franklin (1-0, 0-0 HCAC) will play host to top ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater Saturday at 1:00 PM.
