Andy Dalton, Hanover College, Football (Defense)
Hanover College linebacker Andy Dalton (Guilford, Ind./East Central) led the Panthers defense in a 37-12 win over Defiance Saturday and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense.
The junior recorded 21 tackles and hauled in an interception as the Hanover defense played an integral role in the victory.
Dalton’s third-quarter interception helped set up the Panthers’ field goal to bump the lead to 37-5.
Hanover (1-2, 1-0 HCAC) remains on the road to face Rose-Hulman at 2:00 PM Saturday.
