Manchester University’s Kyle Evans (Winamac, Ind./West Central) scored eight points with a field goal and five extra points in the Spartans’ 45-9 win over Earlham and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.
The senior kicker connected on a 25-yard field goal and was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points, while adding a punting average of 44.5 yards in the win.
Evans also averaged better than 56 yards per kickoff with three touchbacks to complete his afternoon.
Manchester (3-4, 3-2 HCAC) will travel to Cincinnati to face Mount St. Joseph Saturday at 1:30 PM.
