Manchester University’s Kyle Evans (Winamac, Ind./West Central) scored five points with a field goal and two extra points in the Spartans’ 17-14 win over Mount St. Joseph and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams for the second time.
The senior kicker connected on a 40-yard field goal and a pair of extra points as the Spartans preserved their fourth straight win.
Manchester (4-4, 4-2 HCAC) will return to the field on November 3 against Hanover.
