Kaleb Lingg, Earlham College, Football (Defense)

Earlham College linebacker Kaleb Lingg (Dayton, Ohio/Northridge) had a huge day leading the Quaker defense in a 21-20 comeback win at Anderson and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense. 

The senior recorded a school record 24 tackles with one sack, six tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and four pass breakups in the win. 

Lingg also had six punts for a 41.8 yards per punt average, including a long boot of 54 yards. 

Earlham (2-5, 1-4 HCAC) will welcome Hanover for a 1:30 PM kickoff Saturday.
