Men's Basketball Report (Week 3) - Ravens Set School Record vs. DC: Hold 2-0 HCAC Mark

GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University (5-1, 2-0 HCAC) posted two conference wins last week to begin the 2009-10 season 2-0 in HCAC play.  The Ravens shot a school record 70.4% in an 88-70 win over Defiance and beat Mount St. Joseph 79-70 at home. 

Junior forward Andrew Jones (Noblesville, Ind./H.S.) led the scoring effort against the Yellow Jackets, finishing with 27 points on 13 of 14 shooting from the floor.  Jones added 19 more points in the win over Mount St. Joseph, while junior guard Ty Riddle (Muncie, Ind./Central) added a team-high 23 points in the win. 

Anderson travels to Bluffton Wednesday night and will close the week with a non-conference home game against Wittenberg.
