Men's Basketball Report (Week 8) - No. 18 Anderson Wins 10th Straight: 5-0 HCAC

GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University (13-1, 5-0 HCAC) ran its win streak to 10 in a row and now holds a two game lead in the loss column over the rest of the conference after a 2-0 week. 

The No. 18 ranked Ravens defeated Franklin for the first time in 13 meetings, 72-59 on Wednesday.  Brock Morrison (Winchester, Ind./H.S.) led four Ravens in double figures with 22 points and 15 rebounds against the Grizzlies and was named the HCAC Player of the Week.

AU won an important game on the road against second place Transylvania in impressive fashion.  The Ravens were dominant in the second half, outscoring the hosts 59-42 to post a 91-72 triumph.  Ty Riddle (Muncie, Ind./Central) scored a game-high 23 points, connecting on six three point field goals as AU shot 63.8% from the field against the Pioneers. 

Anderson will travel to Rose-Hulman Wednesday evening before playing host to Hanover Saturday.
