Men's Basketball Report (Week 13) - Anderson Clinches Share of HCAC Title

GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University (20-3, 12-2 HCAC) secured a piece of a conference title for the first time in 28 years with two wins last week.  The Ravens handed Franklin an 80-58 defeat and beat Rose-Hulman 76-69 to clinch a share of the HCAC crown.

Brock Morrison (Winchester, Ind./H.S.) led the Ravens in scoring and rebounding all week, posting 24 points and 13 rebounds vs. Franklin and 29 points and 15 boards against Rose-Hulman.

AU had an opportunity to clinch the outright league title and right to host the upcoming HCAC tournament on Saturday, but could not come away with a win over Transylvania.  In the 76-72 loss, Morrison led the way with another double-double, scoring 22 points with 12 rebounds, earning the conference's Player of the Week award for the second time.

Anderson will play host to rival Manchester Wednesday before a potential showdown at Hanover Saturday with the top seed on the line.
