Anderson’s Brock Morrison Placed on D3hoops.com Team of the Week

GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University's Brock Morrison (Winchester, Ind./H.S.) has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the period from Feb. 8 to Feb. 14. The sophomore forward has guided the No. 18 ranked Ravens to a 20-3 overall record and a 12-2 record in conference play.

The sophomore recorded at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in all three games last week, beginning with 24 points and 13 rebounds in an 80-58 win at Franklin Monday. 

On Wednesday night, the Winchester, Indiana native netted 29 points and 15 rebounds in a 76-69 win over Rose-Hulman to clinch a share of the HCAC crown. 

His week ended with a 22 point, 12 rebound effort in a 76-72 loss to Transylvania on Saturday afternoon.

For the week, Morrison averaged 25.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in three games, while shooting 69% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and 89% from the foul line.

Morrison currently ranks in the top three of the HCAC leaders in scoring (15.1 ppg), rebounding (8.6 rpg), field goal percentage (57.1%), and free throw percentage (84.5%).

He was also named HCAC Player of the Week in men's basketball for the week ending Feb. 14.
