MC's Moss Named 1st Team NABC All-Region, Nadborne Regional Coach of the Year

KANSAS CITY, MO - Manchester College junior
Jordan Moss (Columbia City, Ind./H.S.) was named
First Team All-Midwest Region by the National Association
Basketball Coaches (NABC), while Head Coach Brad
Nadborne received Midwest Region Coach of the Year
honors.
Nadborne guided the men's basketball team to a 22-7 record, the
fourth best in MC school history. His team also captured the
school's first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular
season title since 2001 and the first HCAC Tournament championship
since 1995. Manchester advanced to the NCAA Division III National
Tournament, picking up a first round win over Bethany, 70-58 before
falling to Final Four bound Wooster, 47-45 in second round
action.
Moss was named the HCAC Player of the Year and was part of the
HCAC First Team All-Conference squad. The junior Columbia City,
Ind., native led the Spartans in scoring with 13.3 points per game,
shooting .576 from the floor. He averaged 4.8 rebounds, three
assists and nearly one steal per game at the guard position. He was
also recognized by D3hoops.com
as a Third Team All-Region selection.
Moss will advance to the All-American ballots, with finalists
announced at a later time.
