HCAC Places Four on D3hoops.com All-Region Squads

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed four men's and women's basketball players on the D3hoops.com All-Region teams.  Two men's basketball players earned a spot on the All-Midwest region team, while two women's basketball players earned a spot on the All-Great Lakes region squad.

The website announced the recipients this evening with Transylvania's Ethan Spurlin (Stanford, Ky./Lincoln Co.) and Brandon Rash (Mt. Sterling, Ky./Montgomery Co.) appearing on the All-Midwest region team. Franklin's Sarah Condra (Nineveh, Ind./Whiteland) and Rose-Hulman's Alisa Dickerson (Elizabethtown, Ky./H.S.) earned a spot on the women's All-Great Lakes region team.

Spurlin earned a spot on the All-Midwest region first-team, while Rash earned third-team accolades. 

Condra was named first-team All-Great Lakes region, while Dickerson was placed on the second-team.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. There were 683 players nominated nationwide, a new high.
