Logan Wolfrum, Defiance College, Men's Basketball

Defiance College freshman guard Logan Wolfrum (Defiance, Ohio/Ayersville) was named the most valuable player of the John Dawson Invitational at Adrian College after leading the Jackets to the championship this past weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

Wolfrum led DC to wins over Kalamazoo, Mount Union, and Adrian by averaging 22.0 points, 5.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game on the week.  The freshman shot 59.9% from the field, including 12 of 18 from behind the arc and a perfect 16 of 16 from the free throw line. 

The Defiance native scored a team high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a win over Kalamazoo and added 28 points and seven assists in a win over Mount Union.  In the championship game against Adrian, Wolfrum scored 16 points to earn tournament MVP honors.
