Dustin Kinn, Bluffton University, Men's Basketball

Bluffton University sophomore forward Dustin Kinn (Alvada, Ohio/New Riegel) led the Beavers to a 2-0 start on the season at Webster University in St. Louis and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. 

The sophomore poured in a then career-high 21 points and hauled in seven rebounds as BU defeated host Webster 79-76 in overtime Saturday evening. 

Kinn followed that performance with another career-high effort, netting 25 points with five rebounds in a 97-94 triple overtime win over Rust College Sunday. 

For the week, Kinn averaged 23.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 60.0% (18-of-30) from the field with a block, three assists, and three steals. 

Bluffton (2-0, 0-0 HCAC) will face Temple Baptist and Hiram at home this week.
