Phil Hogan, Anderson University, Men's Basketball
Anderson University junior guard Phil Hogan (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) led the Ravens over Defiance and Earlham last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time.
The junior scored 23 points and added four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in an 82-72 win at home over Defiance Wednesday evening. Hogan followed that performance with 18 points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in AU’s 83-57 win at Earlham Saturday.
In the two games, Hogan averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals, while shooting 59.0% from the field.
Hogan currently averages 21.1 points per game to lead all HCAC scorers.
Anderson (10-9, 6-6 HCAC) will travel to Rose-Hulman and Bluffton this week.
