Transy's Hinton, Tereshko Named to Ping All-American Golf Team

LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania senior
Justin Tereshko
(Madison, Ind./H.S.) and sophomore Clay
Hinton (Elizabethtown, Ky./H.S.)
have been named to the PING All-America third team by the Golf
Coaches Association of America.
The Pioneers are coming off a second-place showing in last week's
NCAA Division III National Championship at the Mission Hills Resort
Golf Club. Tereshko, a first-team All-America choice last year,
finished at 10 over par and in a tie for 17th individually. He was
even par over his final three rounds.
Hinton was at 301 and tied for 31st.
A total of 10 players were named to the All-American first team
and seven more were second-team selections. Tereshko and Hinton
were among 20 players on the third team.
Tereshko was also the Heartland Conference Player of the Year.
Both Tereshko and Hinton were also first-team All-HCAC performers
and were named to the All-Great Lakes Region first team.
