Transy Men and Hanover Women Set for NCAA Golf Championships

GREENWOOD, IN - The Transylvania University men's golf team and Hanover College's women's golf team are set to take part in the NCAA Division III Championships this week.  The men will play May 12-15 at Grandover Resort, in Greensboro, North Carolina, while the women will play May 12-15 at the El Campeon Golf Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Transy earned their way into the event by claiming their ninth straight HCAC title.  It will be the Pioneers’ ninth straight appearance in the national event.

The field will be cut to the top 15 teams after the first 36 holes of play.

The Panthers’ women’s squad will compete in a 72 hole event down in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Hanover earned automatic qualification for the NCAA finals event by winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament for the second straight year.
