KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed three men's soccer player on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Adidas All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.
Rose-Hulman's Rhys Evans (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) earned the conference's only spot on the second team. The senior forward scored eight goals and totaled 17 points this season and was named the HCAC Most Valuable Player for the second straight season.
Transylvania's Trey Kramer (Versailles, Ky./Woodford Co.) and Kevin Jones (Middletown, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick) were named as third team members. Kramer, a senior goalkeeper for the Pioneers, posted nine shutouts this season and sported a 0.56 goals against average. Jones, a junior back, scored two goals and an assist while anchoring the strong Pioneer defense.
A total of 33 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
