Men's Soccer Report (Week 2) - Anderson Outscores Opponents 13-0 in Route to 2-0 Mark
GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University posted a pair of wins last week to even its season record at 2-2. The Ravens earned two decisive wins, blanking Robert Morris-Springfield 9-0 and Cincinnati Christian 4-0.
Sophomore midfielder Brad Rusche (New Palestine, Ind./H.S.) registered a hat trick and scored the game-winner in Anderson's 9-0 defeat of Robert Morris-Springfield.
Rusche added a pair of assists in AU's 4-0 win over Cincinnati Christian.
Rose-Hulman earned a split during the week against rivals Wabash and DePauw.
The Engineers received a pair of goals from senior Clint Vatterrodt (Bloomington, Ill./University) in a 3-1 victory over Wabash. The senior added a first half goal in RHIT's 3-2 loss at DePauw.
Hanover College received a school record performance in an 8-4 loss to Centre. Senior forward Jake Stawick (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence North) set a HC single-match record with four goals in the loss. Stawick scored two assisted goals, one unassisted and also added a penalty kick for the Panthers.
