GREENWOOD, IN - The Franklin College men's soccer team ended the week with a pair of shutout wins. The Grizzlies blanked Knox 7-0 and Eureka 3-0 at Faught Stadium after a season opening 3-0 loss to No. 4 Ohio Northern last Thursday.
Senior Craig Wood (Fishers, Ind./H.S.) registered a hat trick in Franklin's 7-0 defeat of Knox, tallying all three of his goals in the first 31 minutes of the match Friday evening.
Against visiting Eureka on Sunday, Wood scored the first of the Grizzlies' goals in a 3-0 victory.
Manchester finished the week with a 1-0 record, earning a 4-1 win over Benedictine (IL) up in Chicago.
Junior forward Dian Radev (Burgas, Bulgaria/Vasil Levski) found the back of the net twice in the win to lead the Spartans.
