HCAC Places Four on All-Great Lakes Region Men's Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed four men's soccer players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.

Transylvania University's Kyle Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) represented the conference on the first team.  Smith was named the HCAC Offensive MVP for his efforts this fall, leading the Pioneers to the NCAA tournament.

Franklin College's Drew Ferguson (Louisville, Ky./Whitefield Academy) and Rose-Hulman's Mike Schiff (Martinsville, Ind./Mooresville) and Will Senat (Edmond, Okla./North) earned the conference's only spots on the third team.  Ferguson and Senat earned All-HCAC honors, while Schiff was named the HCAC Defensive MVP.

A total of 39 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
