Men's Soccer Report (Week 2) - RHIT Battled Wabash & DePauw in OT Thrillers

GREENWOOD, IN - The Rose-Hulman men's soccer team battled against in-state rivals Wabash and DePauw in Terre Haute over the weekend.  The Engineers (1-2-2, 0-0 HCAC) escaped with a 1-0 OT win over Wabash and ended 0-0 with No. 18 DePauw after a pair of extra frames.

Sophomore goalkeeper Drew Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick) recorded back-to-back shutouts against the Little Giants and Tigers.  He finished the week with a 1-1-1 record, 0.60 goals against average, and 15 saves.

Transylvania (2-0-1, 0-0 HCAC) remained unblemished on the season, escaping with a 1-1 tie at Thomas More Saturday.

Junior forward Kyle Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) scored the teams only goal in the contest, knotting up the score in the 33rd minute.

Transylvania stands No. 9 in the latest NSCAA/Adidas Great Lakes Regional Rankings.
