HCAC Places Four on All-Great Lakes Region Men's Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed four men's soccer players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.

Rose-Hulman's Nick Kowalkowski (New Lenox, Ill.), Turner Perkins (Danville, Ind.) and Ben Lyon (Westfield, Ind.) represented the conference on the second team. 

Kowalkowski was named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, leading the top ranked defense in the conference.  Perkins and Lyon both were named First-Team All-HCAC for their efforts.

Hanover College's Enrico Franchini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) earned the conference's only spot on the third team.  Franchini earned HCAC Offensive MVP honors as the Panthers claimed a share of the HCAC crown.

A total of 35 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
