Rhys Evans, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Men's Soccer
Rose-Hulman's Rhys Evans (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) scored the lone goal in the Engineers conference-opening win against Transylvania and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
The senior scored in the 74th minute of the contest on a pass from Tim Hollingshead to deliver the Engineers the win.
Rose (3-4-1, 1-0 HCAC) will entertain Illinois Wesleyan in their only game this week.
