Pierre Manga, Transylvania University, Men's Soccer
Transylvania University's Pierre Manga (Lexington, Ky./Henry Clay) scored a pair of goals in two Transy wins last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
The sophomore scored a goal in the Pioneers' 2-1 win over Wabash and added another goal in a 2-0 win over Franklin.
Manga leads Transylvania with six goals and five assists this season.
The Pioneers (11-3-1, 6-1 HCAC) have won eight straight matches and will close the regular season at Hanover Tuesday.
