Brian Williams, Transylvania University, Men's Soccer

Transylvania University's Brian Williams (Lexington, Ky./Tates Creek) scored a pair of goals in the Pioneers lone game of the week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week. 

The junior netted two goals in a 3-0 win over Hanover, capping off the regular season schedule.  The Pioneers finished the season with a nine-match win streak and earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming HCAC men's soccer tournament Tuesday. 

Transy (12-3-1, 7-1 HCAC) will open tournament play at home against No. 3 seed Anderson tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
