David Becerra, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Men's Tennis
Rose-Hulman's David Becerra (Brownsburg, Ind./Covenant Christian) finished 2-0 at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
The junior earned wins over Trine and Eureka, leading the Engineers to an 8-1 victory over Trine and a 9-0 win over Eureka.
Rose-Hulman (3-2, 0-0 HCAC) returns to the court on March 13 against Franklin and Anderson.
