Earlham College’s Anton Bartashevich (Moscow, Russia/International) led the Quakers to league wins over Transylvania, Mount St. Joseph, and Rose-Hulman to take control of the title race and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week.
The junior finished 3-0 at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions to help the Quakers defeat Transylvania 8-1, Mount St. Joseph 9-0, and Rose-Hulman 8-1.
Earlham is ranked No. 10 in the ITA Central Region and Bartashevich is now ranked No. 16 in singles.
Earlham (9-5, 4-0 HCAC) will travel to Case Western Reserve for a non-league match Saturday.
