Men's Outdoor T&F Report (Week 3) - RHIT Stands No. 13 in National Dual Meet Rankings

GREENWOOD, IN - The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team stands No. 13 nationally and No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region in this week's NCAA Division III Track and Field Team Dual Meet Rankings.  The Engineers placed second at DePauw over the weekend, finishing behind Wabash (No. 2 nationally).

The RHIT 4-x-400-meter relay team recorded the second-fastest time in school history to earn a strong second place finish at the meet.  The team’s time of 3:17.58 also ranks No. 13 nationally this season.

Junior Trey Cahill (Auburn, Ind./DeKalb) won the hammer throw title at DePauw with a career-best throw of 167’ 2” to lead the field event efforts.

Franklin and Hanover also competed at the meet, finishing eighth and ninth in the team standings.

Manchester College earned the team title at the four team Manchester Quad last Thursday afternoon. 

Eric Moreland (Modoc, Ind./Union) led the Spartans to the team title, claiming victories in the high jump (2.00 meters) and javelin (47.30 meters).

Andereson University hosted the Raven Outdoor Invitational last week and placed second in the six team event.  Mount St. Joseph also competed and placed third in the team standings.

This weekend's schedule is highlighted by the Indiana Division III Championships and All-Ohio Championships (schedule).
