Men's Outdoor T&F Report (Week 3) - Ravens Claim Anderson Invite Crown

GREENWOOD, IN - The Anderson men's outdoor track and field team won the Anderson Invitational Saturday.  The Ravens held off second place Goshen by 34 points.

Junior Max Kittle (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) won the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles with times of 15.13 and 54.04.  Senior Tony Johnson (South Bend, Ind./Riley) also won a pair of events, earning titles in the 100 (11.11) and 200-meter (22.68) dashes.

Earlham College finished third in the team standings at the meet.

Rose-Hulman placed second in the team standings at the 11-team DePauw Invitational Saturday.  The Engineers finished behind champion Vincennes in the standings. Junior Blake Schulthies (Dubois, Ind./Northeast Dubois) won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.86 seconds.

Hanover also competed at DePauw, finishing 11th at the meet.

Manchester and Defiance ran at Huntington Saturday.  The Spartans earned a third place finish, while the Jackets placed fifth among the seven competing schools.

Transylvania competed at Centre over the weekend.  Freshman Cole Green (Oak Ridge, Tenn./H.S.) won a pair of events to lead the Pioneers. The freshman won the 100-meter dash with a school record time of 11.08 seconds and added a victory in the 200-meters with a school-record effort of 22.13. 

This weekend the All-Ohio and Indiana Division III Invitational dominate the schedule.  Transylvania will host the Transylvania Invitational Saturday.
